About us
A club born from a dream among friends.
GADAG's origins are tied to a long-held wish of a group of friends, most of them childhood friends, from the area around Alcantarilha railway station, who from a young age dreamed of creating a club in their home town.
Its main purpose is to promote sports, recreational, cultural and social activities among members and the wider community, on a non-partisan basis and with no distinction of nationality, creed, ideology or race.
The first meetings took place in nearby cafés and in family homes. Little by little the first ideas and strategies emerged to build the association and sports movement that GADAG is today.

Besides the federated sports, every year we organise mountain biking, horse rides, walks, sueca card tournaments, a 4x4 off-road tour and the Zen Morning. See the full list under Activities.
What kinds of membership are there and what is the annual fee?
Full member: EUR 30 per year. Family member (household of a full member): EUR 5. Youth: EUR 7.50. Senior: EUR 7.50.
How do I become a member?
Print and fill in the membership form and hand it in at the club house or by email. Admission is confirmed by the Board. Every step is on the Join us page.
Can I pay the fees by bank transfer?
Yes. IBAN: PT50 0035 0384 0001 5000 3301 8 (Caixa Geral de Depósitos, BIC/SWIFT CGDIPTPL). Put your name in the reference and email the receipt to geral.gadag@gmail.com.
